The four types
What type of genius are you?
There are four genius types, each linked to a season. Everyone has a primary genius - the mode in which they naturally create value and feel most energised.
Spring
Dynamo Genius
Idea generators and pioneers. Dynamos are energised by possibility, great at starting new things, and thrive when they are creating and innovating. They can see opportunities others miss - but can struggle to finish what they start.
Summer
Blaze Genius
People-focused and naturally magnetic. Blazes build relationships and communities with ease, and are energised by connecting others. They are brilliant at promotion, sales, and bringing people together around a shared vision.
Autumn
Tempo Genius
Grounded, steady, and excellent with timing. Tempos are the ones who actually get things done - they are detail-oriented, dependable, and understand the rhythm of what needs to happen and when. The backbone of any solid operation.
Winter
Steel Genius
Systems thinkers and analysts. Steels are energised by structure, data, and solving complex problems. They bring rigour and organisation to everything they touch and are often the ones who spot flaws before they become failures.

Once you know your genius type, you can make better decisions about where to spend your time, who to hire first, and which parts of the business to delegate rather than push yourself through. It also explains why certain tasks consistently drain you while others energise you - and that distinction matters more than most founders realise.
